From planting the vines and nurturing the vineyard, to the growth of the grapes, harvesting, winemaking, and finally selling the labeled bottle – everything has been managed by one family for generations. At any time of the year, wine enthusiasts can witness the work being done by the winemaker to produce "their" wine. The challenges posed by the climate and the unique landscape continually require us to approach our craft with creativity and ingenuity.
I, Joachim Lorenz, am my customers' trusted partner when it comes to wine. I personally stand by the quality of my wines with my name and my commitment.

Welcome to Winery Toni Lorenz in Boppard, idyllically situated in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley. For generations, we have lived and worked here to craft wines that capture the unique terroir and the rich winemaking history of the region in every bottle. With dedication, creativity, and deep roots in this area, we manage our family-run winery where traditional values meet modern demands.

We stand for transparency in winemaking: from planting the vines to carefully tending the vineyard, and from harvesting to winemaking, everything is in our hands. Every bottle that leaves our winery tells a story—of the challenges posed by the climate, the steep slate slopes of the Bopparder Hamm, and our passion for crafting exceptional wines.
Our goal is to bring out the best from nature’s gifts and create wines that reflect the region and our personal style. "A wine is as unique as the vintage in which it was made and as authentic as the winemaker who crafted it." This belief guides everything we do.
Our Wines – A Reflection of Terroir and Character
Our vineyards are located in the renowned Bopparder Hamm, known for its mineral-rich slate soils and optimal sun exposure. This combination imparts our wines with an unmistakable elegance, freshness, and complexity.
We take particular pride in our Riesling, considered the “signature” of our winery. For instance, our dry Riesling, which represents the style and character of our house, embodies the fine balance of acidity and fruit that is so typical of the Middle Rhine. Equally popular are our off-dry Rieslings and our noble sweet specialties such as Spätlese or Auslese.
In addition, we enrich our portfolio with distinctive red wines, including the beloved Premium Red Wine Trio, and our sparkling Winzersekt, produced using traditional bottle fermentation for sparkling moments of enjoyment.

I, Joachim Lorenz, personally stand behind the quality of our wines with my name. Together with my wife Martina, we run the winery with great passion and years of experience. We are acutely aware of our responsibility to nature and our region.
