Our wine estate is located in one of the most famous wine-growing regions of Germany - the cultural land of Rheingau!

Carl Ehrhard pursues a consistent vinification in his family business in the 5th generation.
The 7 hectares of Riesling & Pinot Noir grapes are handpicked and selected multiple times. In the 130-year old vault cellar, each vineyard receives the TIME for its decelerated development in its own small barrel. This natural maturation process aims for wines of top quality with longevity & elegance, which once brought Riesling to global renown. With us, each vintage is allowed and meant to stand out on its own and surprise again and again!

The Different Kind of Wine Tavern

In the ongoing expansion of our winery with a wine shop and tavern, this establishment is one of the coziest of its kind in the lower Rheingau.
The premises are furnished with style and attention to detail, showcasing a colorful atmosphere. Surrounded by antique furniture, our guests are often reluctant to find their way home! Whether social or festive, suitable for small gatherings from 20 or large parties of up to 100 people, these spaces, combined with the Mediterranean courtyard and the pressing hall, are perfect for any private event, tailored to the wishes of our guests!
The entire enjoyment spectrum of the house unfolds during a culinary wine tasting, which can be completed with a cellar tour.
