The winery was founded by Christine and Alois Dahn in the year 1960.
 
Today, Heike, Karl, and Michael Dahn are responsible for the family business.

In addition to the classical grape varieties of the Rheingau, Riesling and Spätburgunder, a specialty of the winery, the St. Laurent grape, is cultivated. The varieties Dunkelfelder, Frühburgunder, and Kerner complete the wine offerings.

Consistent development and implementation of the latest cellar technology is appreciated not only by our customers, but also receives attention and success in wine awards.

In 2006, our winery was mentioned for the first time in the "Gault Millau" as one of the best wine producers in Germany, with eight selected wines rated as "good," "very good," and "excellent."

We present our wine offerings at various wine festivals and during the "Days of Open Cellar Doors," which regularly take place in May and November. Our daughter Barbara, who is less involved in the "wine" sector professionally, provides us with active support on these days.
