Koblenz Hauptbahnhof
Bahnhofplatz 2, 56068 Koblenz
Its prestigious Art Nouveau station building was considered an architectural highlight at the time. The station replaced several smaller stations and created a direct link between the left bank of the Rhine, the Moselle line and the right bank of the Rhine. During the Second World War, the station suffered considerable damage from air raids. After the war, it was gradually rebuilt and modernised, with some historical elements being retained. Since then, it has been an important hub for long-distance and local transport in Rhineland-Palatinate and is also a central entry point for travellers wishing to explore the region.
