Oberheimbach's local mountain with its vantage point at an altitude of 265 meters can be reached via a stairway south of the village center.
Generations of children from Oberheimbach used the mountain as an adventure playground. From the summit, there is a dream view of the wine-growing area on the southern slopes of the Heimbach Valley, from the Hunsrück in the west to the Rhine in the east.
