The holiday apartment "El Fries" is located in Boppard town, in the so-called "Lackschuhviertel", on a parallel street to the Rheinallee, on the second floor of a classicist villa from 1870. In about a 3-minute walk, you can reach a large parking lot, directly next to the police station, where you can conveniently park your car; you can also park for free right in front of the house.
You can reach the Rhine, with its beautiful Rhine facilities, the multigenerational park with a very nice playground, and a ramp in about 3-5 minutes. In about a 5-minute walk, you will arrive at the oil and mustard mill located on the grounds of the St. Martin Monastery, where you will also find the partnership gardens of Japan, England, France, and Hungary.
In the city center, which you can reach on foot in about 8 to 10 minutes, you will find various shops, restaurants, wine taverns, a small cozy cinema, the electoral castle with a museum, the Roman castle, and more.
The train station is about a 15-20 minute walk away, and the Mühltal with the chairlift, which is the starting point for many hikes as well as the climbing route, can be reached in about 30-35 minutes on foot.
Over the past years, we have lovingly renovated the holiday apartment, and specifically, the woodwork has been treated exclusively with biological products (Auro, Kreidezeit). We intentionally forgo carpets, doilies, and other items that we consider unnecessary dust collectors in a holiday apartment, which will certainly benefit allergy sufferers or other sensitive individuals.
In the living area, a leather couch invites you to relax, watch TV, or simply read. If you need to do some work or write, there is also a desk available for this purpose. On pleasant days, you can also make yourself comfortable on the sunny balcony, which has seating and a sunshade. Here is also the only area where considerate smoking is allowed!
The spacious bedroom, next to the kitchen, features a four-door wardrobe, a dresser, two nightstands, and a double bed (180x200), which will be made up upon your arrival.
The second bedroom contains a French bed (140x200) with a shelf, a small wardrobe, a small dresser, a seating area with a table for 2 people, and a washbasin that can be used for, for example, makeup (the water pressure is very low!)
In both bedrooms, flat-screen TVs are also available.In the daylight bathroom, you have the opportunity to relax in the bathtub or take a shower. It is also equipped with a sink, a wall-mounted toilet, and a washing machine.
The spacious kitchen-living room shines with a cozy seating area and is fully equipped. In addition to dishes and cooking utensils, you will find a dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, mixer, and more.............
Apart from the kitchen, the apartment is exclusively furnished with solid wood furniture, and the floor coverings consist of wood or tiles, except for the kitchen, where you will find a plastic floor (CV).
